This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") governs how Ashiba LLC (the "Company", "we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, maintains, and otherwise handles information collected from site visitors, prospective customers, customers, and authorized users visiting ashiba-app.com (the "Site" or "App"). We refer collectively to these categories of individuals as "you" throughout this policy. This Policy applies to the Site, the App, and all products and services offered by the Company.
We may collect Personally Identifiable Information ("PII") from you in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when you visit the Site or sign up for the App. You will be asked for your email address when signing up for the App. You may, however, visit the Site anonymously. The Company will collect PII from you only if you voluntarily submit your PII to the Company. You can always refuse to provide PII, but this will prevent you from engaging in certain activities, such as using the App.
The Company uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information on how you interact with the Site and the App. A cookie is a piece of text stored by your browser. It may help remember login information and site preferences. It might also collect information such as your browser type, operating system, web pages visited, duration of visit, content viewed, and other click-stream data.
The Company may use Google Analytics to track basic page views and visit data on the Site and the App, such as device type, operating system, and browser type. This helps the Company understand the performance of the Site and App. If you do not want Google Analytics to be used in your browser, you can install the "Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On," provided by Google. You can also adjust cookie retention settings and accept or block individual cookies in your browser settings, although the App will not work and other aspects of our service may not function properly if you turn cookies off.
The Company may collect and use your PII and other information for the following purposes:
The information you provide helps the Company respond to your customer service requests and support needs more effectively.
The information you provide is analyzed in the aggregate to understand how you use the services and resources provided by the Company, and how the Company can improve its services and resources.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your PII or other information to third parties.
No individual at the Company will look at your account information except for limited purposes and with your express permission. For example, if an error occurs that stops an automated process from working and requires manual intervention to fix. These are rare cases, and when they happen, we look for root cause solutions as much as possible to avoid them recurring. We may also access your data if required in order to respond to requests from legal authorities. In addition to these reasons, we may also access your information under the following circumstances:
The Company keeps your information for the time necessary for the purposes for which it is processed. The length of time for which the Company retains your information depends on the purposes for which the Company collected and uses it, after which time the Company may delete or aggregate it. The Company may also retain and use this information as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
You can choose to cancel your account on the App at anytime. We'll permanently delete the data in your account from our servers the same day of cancellation. Your data can't be recovered once it has been permanently deleted.
If you pay for a Company product, you will be asked to provide your payment information and billing address. Credit card information is submitted directly to our payment processor and does not hit Company servers. We store a record of the payment transaction, including the last 4 digits of the credit card number, for purposes of account history, invoicing, and billing support. We store your billing address so we can charge you for service, calculate any sales tax due, send you invoices, and detect fraudulent credit card transactions.
When you email the Company with a question or to ask for help, the Company keeps that correspondence, including your email address, so that we have a history of past correspondence to reference if you reach out in the future. We also store information you may volunteer, for example, written responses to surveys.
We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, and data stored on the App. For example, all data is encrypted via SSL/TLS when transmitted from our servers to your browser.
We may update this Policy as needed to comply with relevant regulations and reflect any new practices. If we make significant changes, we will refresh the date at the top of this page and notify all current App users.
By using this Site or the App, you signify your acceptance of this Policy. If you do not agree to this Policy, you are free to refrain from using this Site or the App. Your continued use of this Site or the App following the posting of changes to this Policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
